Fresh Polyethylene Price Increase Nominated for Oct
Both Dow and LyondellBasell have nominated a $.04/lb increase for October Polyethylene contracts; this is in addition to the Sept +.05/lb.

POLYETHYLENE RESIN PRICE INCREASE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2016.
Dow Chemical Company (TDCC) will increase the selling price of all polyethylene resins in the United States by US$0.04/lb. This price increase is in addition to any previously announced price increases. Products included in this price increase are as follows: LLDPE Resins

Our polyethylene resin suppliers have informed us of their intentions to implement a resin price increase effective September 1st. In response all new orders received on or after September 23rd will be priced with a 6% increase.
