9 Reasons for you to drink Green Tea!!

You may be surprised to learn of the many great health benefits Green Tea has for you!!

9 Reasons to Drink Green Tea Daily

Have you been wondering “what’s all the fuss about green tea?” Now you can stop wondering and start drinking…green tea, that is. This flavorful beverage offers many health benefits to anyone who drinks it regularly. Green tea contains a potent plant nutrient known as epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG, for short. Here are 9 reasons to start drinking green tea or continue drinking it if you’re already hooked.

1. Green tea is a superb fat fighter. Its active ingredient, EGCG, increases the rate at which fat is burned in your body.

2. It targets belly fat. Research at Tufts University indicates that EGCG in green tea, like other catechins, activate fat-burning genes in the abdomen to speed weight loss by 77 percent.

3. It keeps energy stable by balancing blood sugar levels. EGCG improves insulin use in the body to prevent blood sugar spikes and crashes that can result in fatigue, irritability, and cravings for unhealthy foods.

4. Research shows it may be helpful against lung cancer. In an April 2010 study published in Cancer Prevention Research, EGCG was found to suppress lung cancer cell growth.

5. It may halt colorectal cancer. In numerous other studies, EGCG appears to inhibit colorectal cancers.

6. In research it appears to cause prostate cancer cells to commit suicide. A March 2010 study in Cancer Science indicated that EGCG aids the body by causing prostate cancer cells to commit suicide.

7. It may prevent skin damage and wrinkling. EGCG appears to be 200 times more powerful than vitamin E at destroying skin-damaging free radicals. Free radicals react with healthy cells in the body, causing damage so lessening their numbers may help reduce wrinkling and other signs of aging.

8. It contains a potent antioxidant that kills free radicals. Because it is a potent antioxidant it can positively impact a lot more than skin cells. Free radicals are increasingly linked to many serious chronic illnesses like arthritis, diabetes, and cancer.

9. It tastes good. If you’re not wild about the flavor, try a few different kinds. Try it iced or hot. Add some of the natural herb stevia to sweeten it if you want a sweeter drink. Many aren't crazy about green tea the first few times , but now love it with a fresh squeeze of lemon and a few drops of stevia over ice–et voila! Green tea lemonade. Mmmmm.

Your Company Can Thrive or Dive Based On Your Accounting Relationship!

If you would like a fresh pair of eyes to offer you a new perspective on your company's path, please ask me....i have relationships with the best in the field, specializing in all facets of business!!
Have a Peaceful Day!!

How to Choose an Accounting Firm

Now more than ever, an accountant is indispensable to the success of every business. But there's a daunting array of accountants and firms to choose from — from sole practitioners to huge national firms, from generalists to highly specialized CPAs.
The Industry itself is changing rapidly. Tax returns, financial statements, and other compliance items have become mature services — they have become commodities. Quality, timeliness and the physical end product are given.
So how do you choose the right accountant? Start by considering your needs and preferences:

Size: Is the one-on-one contact typical of a smaller firm important to you? Or will you feel more comfortable dealing with a team dedicated to your account, which is more common at mid- to large-size firms? Larger firms may subcontract out your work or assign it to junior staff. You may not be getting what — and who — you think you're paying for.
Specialization: Small firms may not have access to the expertise you need. Accounting is a wide profession, so most accountants narrow their range of specialty. It is nearly impossible to handle all areas well. Find out which areas a firm concentrates in or has access to. Some firms belong to nationwide networks of similar firms, to whom they can turn for help on specialized issues.
Complexity: Do you need a firm just to prepare a tax return and year-end financial statements? Perhaps you also need tax and financial planning advice, help with your business plan, or retirement planning. Do you need employee benefit plan design, computer system installation and support, advice on re-engineering your operations for maximum efficiency and tax advantage?
The big picture: Develop a picture of your needs to ensure that your accountant cannot only meet those needs but also expected — and unforeseen — future needs. Accountants able to deal with only one piece of your financial picture may fail to see the forest for the trees.
Reputation: Talk to your friends and business associates. Does their accountant contact them throughout the year, not just at tax time, with proactive advice and recommendations? Real value from an accounting firm means superior service, a forward-thinking attitude and a relationship you can rely on.
If your friends and business associates had to choose another accountant, whom would they choose? A firm's reputation among non-clients is almost as important as its track record with existing clients. Finally, consider the "relationship fit" — do you get along with the individual? Do you share a similar outlook and philosophy? Does he or she show a real interest in your business?
Qualifications: It's uncommon, but some people who offer "accounting services" are unqualified. They are unlikely to carry any liability insurance, nor is there any supervisory body you can complain to if things go wrong. The apparent savings in fees, if any, could prove costly. Accountants who have the certified public accountant (CPA) designation must adhere to certain accounting standards. Check also for appropriate educational background and membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
These organizations require continuing professional education of members throughout their careers — approved courses to stay current with the latest accounting and tax changes. Certain industries also require compliance with further accounting standards and additional industry specific CPE.
Firms belonging to key practice sections of the AICPA also go through peer review to maintain membership in those sections. Peer review requires a firm to submit to an inspection periodically, where other firms check their work and verify adherence to standards. Look for a firm with a history of "unqualified" peer reviews, indicating full compliance with quality standards and practices.
Final thoughts: Above all, your primary factor in choosing an accountant should be the value he or she can bring to the relationship. Why would clients underestimate their CPA's value, unless they can't identify the value a CPA brings to a relationship? Evaluating such elements as a proactive approach to your total financial picture, the ability to bring specialized expertise to your situation, and superior professional credentials will help you make an informed decision on the CPA's skills and ability to address your unique needs.

Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer Labels

Comprehensive blank thermal label solutions

Thermal Transfer Rolls
When you need to print labels on demand, direct thermal labels and thermal transfer labels from Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. are affordable, easy-to-use solutions. We offer a wide range of blank roll labels designed for all makes and models of printers. These labels can be die cut to any custom size, in quantities from one hundred labels to hundreds of thousands. Click the links below to find the right stock labels and thermal transfer ribbons for you. Our Label Experts can guide your selection or help you develop a custom application.

Thermal Transfer Labels

Used for product ID, record keeping, lab specimens, circuit board manufacture, outdoor and cold storage, thermal transfer labels are ideal for printing long-lasting variable data. These labels typically offer greater durability than direct thermal, sheet style inkjet or laser labels. Utilizing roll-form labels and printing ribbons, this technology needs lower heat to transfer a printed image than other printing methods, which gives you the widest variety of paper and film materials to work with. You also have the most extensive choice of adhesives to fit special labeling applications. A well-matched ribbon and label make a print bond so strong that protective film laminates are not usually needed.
Printing Ribbons

Thermal Transfer Printing Ribbons

Unlike many suppliers, we offer a thorough cross-section of high-quality ribbons made by some of the most trusted companies in the label industry. We thoroughly test our ribbons to assure consistent, reliable performance and to meet application requirements. See which ribbon prints best with each material, along with common applications.

Direct Thermal Labels

Commonly used for shipping labels, receipts, name tags, picking and event tickets, direct thermal labels do not require ink, toner or a transfer ribbon. The label has a special heat-activated layer where a black print image is formed on the label as heat from the print head is applied. Eliminating the ribbon makes for easier use and a lower cost per label. Note: Direct thermal labels are primarily used for short term use since they will eventually fade or brown with age and will turn black if exposed to heat or strong sunlight.

Fairytale Lands are Easy to Create with Cardboard Boxes
2. Make a Fairyland town, village – Kids love creating their own Fairytale land. Using cardboard boxes help make it easy for children to build their own enchanting town.

B. Spread some moss, real or artificial, over the brown Earth. For trees, you can use leafy twigs and branches.
C. Use tiny boxes to create little houses and barns. To make a slanting roof for your tiny house, cut out a piece of cardboard a little larger than the top of the box.
D. To make a chimney, cut a little hole in the peak of the roof with a razor-blade. Then, cut a tiny piece of cardboard into a rectangle shape, and fold it into four sections.
As you continue creating and building, new ideas will continue popping up in your head. The possibilities are never-ending when it comes to creating your tiny town using cardboard boxes.
